The Literacy Faculty comprises Modern Languages & History. |
With the ever growing population and increasingly connected world in which we live, multi-national understanding and multi linguistic skills are not only an advantage but a necessity. Here students get to discover how other cultures along side our own, have developed through the ages to create our multi-national and layered society.
Reflecting Linlithgow Academy's commitment to opportunity, equity and fairness, the Faculty of Modern Languages and History aims to ensure that each individual pupil is fully supported, developed and challenged by a stimulating, relevant and accessible curriculum, where pupils are encouraged to take an active role in their learning both in and out of class, reflect on their work and participate to their best ability. All aspects of achievement and attainment are fully celebrated and pupils are encouraged to see themselves as global citizens .
