Nina Al-Gailani and Ellie Roy are members of Children in Scotland's young people's advisory group, Changing Our World.
At the start of May, two members of the Children in Scotland team (including our own Mrs Kerridge) went with them to Bucharest for three nights so they could take part in the EU Children's Summit (along with a third member from Aberdeen called Finlay).
They were the only young people from the whole of the UK going - and they joined up with 60 young people from 16 different countries.
They were there Saturday-Tuesday. On the main conference day around 60 adults from across Europe attended too - people who work in EU organisations and make decisions. On that day the three young people delivered a presentation about children taking part in decision-making in Scotland and they stole the show!
Their presentation was filmed and is on the Children In Scotland youtube channel (Link: Children in Scotland Bucharest)
Part of it was Tweeted and it is one of the most popular Children In Scotland Tweets ever!
On the last day Nina felt confident enough to stand up herself and speak to everyone about her opinion about the future.
These two young people not only did the school proud, but represented their country with pride.
