All Year Groups

 

First minister reading challenge
Following a survey of pupils which highlighted how important reading is for developing literacy skills Linlithgow Academy has signed up for the FMRC.
Please bring something to read everyday, a book, a magazine, a newspaper. You will be asked to read on the 10 mins after the bulletin has been read. Teachers will have subject related reading if you forget to bring it.

 

Wicks 'n' Wax

Given recent damage to the study area in science, food and drink will no longer be permitted. There are signs up in the area to remind you of this. Only pupils in S6 should be using this area unless supervised by a teacher.

 

Dance Show  - 3rd June

Linlithgow Academy Dance Team are putting on a dance show on Monday the 3rd of June at 7pm in the assembly hall, The group have been working very hard and are looking forward to performing. Tickets are available from Mrs Hendry in the PE Dept. Adults are £4 Child / Con £2. Come along and support the group.

 

 

S1 Pupils

Friday 14th June, 14:00 - 16:30 at the St Johns Hospital in Livingston. The NHS Careers Insight Programme Day, NHS Lothian, aims to provide an insight into the varied careers and working opportunities for pupils who wish to experience the world of work in the Health Service. If Interested, please see Mr Lawrie in A14 who can arrange you a place.

S2 Pupils

Pupils Keep Your Locker for Another Year

Friday 14th June, 14:00 - 16:30 at the St Johns Hospital in Livingston. The NHS Careers Insight Programme Day, NHS Lothian, aims to provide an insight into the varied careers and working opportunities for pupils who wish to experience the world of work in the Health Service. If Interested, please see Mr Lawrie in A14 who can arrange you a place.

 

S3 Pupils

SKI TRIP 2020

There will be a meeting Wednesday 5th June at lunchtime in the PE classroom at 1.30pm. Please be there promptly as you will be receiving important information about the trip. Please see Mrs Leach or Ms Wright if you are unable to attend.

 

Can pupils who have a locker please return the key with Locker Number to the office by Friday 21st June 2019 in order to receive your deposit of £3. You will need to purchase a new locker after the holidays.

If you have a locker and you will not be using it during the exams please return the key to the office. You will receive your £3.00 deposit back. If you will be using your locker during the exams please return your key by 31st May and collect your deposit. Any keys returned after this day will not receive their deposit back.
