Thank you everyone for the donations to date! To help make our donations before the summer even more generous, we are focusing on these 3 items this week:

 

- UHT Milk (long life milk)

- Diluting Juice (1- 1.5l bottle)

- Tinned Cold Meat

Eco Group - Gardeners!

 

All pupils already involved or interested in helping to clear and plant the Eco Garden please attend a meeting in C21, Mrs Armstrong's Room (English) on Monday, 10th June at 1.30pm.

 

Film Audition

If you are/will be 16 by February 2020, there is an opportunity to audition for a feature film set in Scotland. If interested, come and see Mr. Mac at any break of lunchtime this week. The audition will be Tuesday 11th June in school. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in performance.

Pupils Keep Your Locker for Another Year

 

Friday 14th June, 14:00 - 16:30 at the St Johns Hospital in Livingston. The NHS Careers Insight Programme Day, NHS Lothian, aims to provide an insight into the varied careers and working opportunities for pupils who wish to experience the world of work in the Health Service. If Interested, please see Mr Lawrie in A14 who can arrange you a place.

 

S3 Pupils

Can pupils who have a locker please return the key with Locker Number to the office by Friday 21st June 2019 in order to receive your deposit of £3. You will need to purchase a new locker after the holidays.

S5 Pupils

CMS, the 6th largest law firm in the world, is looking for two S5 or S6 pupils, hoping to go on to study law, to become their next CMS Law Scholarships winners for Scotland. The winners will receive £2,500 per year, for each year of their law degree, together with mentoring support and paid work experience with the firm. To enter the competition, CMS ask for a short essay and application form, which is to submitted by Wednesday 26 June 2019.  Full details of the CMS Law Scholarships and how to apply on their website. Certain financial and academic criteria require to be met in the competition - CMS will be happy to receive queries from pupils to confirm their eligibility, if they are unsure about this.

All new S5 & S6 pupils must re-apply for a free bus pass, your previous bus pass will not be valid.  A groupcall has been sent out to your parents to apply online.
