Thank you everyone for the donations to date! To help make our donations before the summer even more generous, we are focusing on these 3 items this week:

- UHT Milk (long life milk)

- Diluting Juice (1- 1.5l bottle)

- Tinned Cold Meat

Debating Club

Want to wrestle with the big issues, and not so big issues, of the day? Do you watch comedy news shows such as Mock The Week and Russel Howard's Good News thinking that you could do better? Debate club is for you! Please write your name on the sign-up sheet outside of Mr Alexander's room (C17) if interested.

 

S1 Triathlon - can new S2 pupils please hand in outstanding sponsor money to your PE teacher or directly to the PE base ASAP.

 

Pupils Keep Your Locker for Another Year

 

Friday 14th June, 14:00 - 16:30 at the St Johns Hospital in Livingston. The NHS Careers Insight Programme Day, NHS Lothian, aims to provide an insight into the varied careers and working opportunities for pupils who wish to experience the world of work in the Health Service. If Interested, please see Mr Lawrie in A14 who can arrange you a place.

 

S3 Pupils

Thank you to all former S3 students who took part in our S3 Composition Competition! Congratulations to the following pupils who have won in each category!

 

Our winners are:

Ellie Roy - Songwriting

Daniela White - Instrumental

Levi Rutherford - Film Score

 

Please come to the Music Department to collect your prizes!

A reminder that we will be pitching tents and cooking dinner on Wednesday the 19th.  Please ensure that you bring tents and food. Any issue please see Mr Hendry.

S5 Pupils

Foundation Apprenticeship Fun Day.  There has been a change of plan and students will no longer get a taxi to Inoflate but should instead get the normal college bus.  You will then be transferred from the college to Inoflate and be back at college on time for the normal bus home.

 

Active Schools are running a Coach Academy programme to develop coaches in 5th Year at all West Lothian Schools. This will allow you to gain a UKCC Level 1 in a chosen sport, First Aid Certificate, Child Protection Certificate, Leadership course and is also a direct entry into a West Lothian College Sports Course. If this is something you might be interested in please come and see Miss Livingstone on Thursday at break or lunch time for more information.

 

All new S5 & S6 pupils must re-apply for a free bus pass, your previous bus pass will not be valid.  A groupcall has been sent out to your parents to apply online.
