REMINDER THAT GIRLS FOOTBALL MATCH IS ON THIS FRIDAY IN ALBYN PARK (BROXBURN). IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY COULD YOU PLEASE COLLECT KIT AND BRING THE £2 FOR BUS TO MRS FERNANDEZ. YOU NEED TO BE CHANGED AND READY FOR 12.30-12.35. BUS WILL LEAVE PROMPT AT 12.45. (REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BOOTS AND SHIN GUARDS).

THE FOLLOWING GIRLS WILL BE PLAYING:

S1 TO S3: ELLA STEWART, SOPHIE REID, JULIA CALABRESE, GABRIELLE CROLLA, SILVANA DONALDSON, GRACE SAMPER , SIRANNE GELDART AND REBECCA MELVILLE. (LAUREN PARK AND ANNA HENRY AS BACKUPS IF ANY OF THE OTHERS CANNOT PLAY ON THE DAY)

S4 TO S6: FELICITY ARCHIBALD, ELVIE MCLEAN, LOUISE FEATHERSTONE, LOUISE ANDERSON, CATRIONA BURNS, EMILY EARSMAN AND AIMEE COCKBURN.

 

 

In our S2 Business Enterprise classes, pupils have been busy planning their business ventures for the Christmas Trade Fair for next week. S2 Christmas Trade Fair is on Wednesday 11 December in the Assembly Hall at lunchtime.

 

 

*BIG QUIZ ANNOUNCEMENT*

 

The Pupil Council will be running the festive BIG QUIZ on Thursday 19th December!

This is a popular event and fantastic way to round off the final week of term. There will be two sittings of the quiz - so lots of opportunity to get involved.

If interested, ticket sales will be at interval on Thursday 5th December and Friday 6th December outside the Assembly Hall. You should register your team of 4 (no restrictions in terms of house or year group) and bring along a £2 entry fee (per team!).

 

 

Mission Christmas Appeal - the school is collecting donations for Forth1's Mission Christmas Appeal this year. We are looking for new, unwrapped gifts suitable for ages 0-18. Donations can be handed into A27 by Friday 13th December. For more information see Miss Leishman. Any donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated!

Miss Baxter is looking for S1-3 Scientists to work on a Global Goals Water Challenge with the University of Strathclyde. We will look at how water is used across the world and how we can analyse it using Scientific techniques. This project will run over a few lunchtimes throughout the year and there will be a poster competition with the winning group taken to the University of Strathclyde to compete with schools across Scotland. If you are interested please come to B8 on Thursday 5th December to get involved!

 

S2 Pupils

 

S2 CUMBERNAULD THEATRE TRIP - CINDERELLA

The trip is TODAY. S2s who are attending should go straight to the HALL after period 1. Remember, we won't be back until 12:45, after the school buses have left. Ensure you know how you are getting home.
