FILM-MAKING COURSE

A reminder that the filmmaking course will start again this Friday morning P1 & 2. All students involved should go directly to Ms Wright's room to register.

 

S3-4 Boys Handball: Thurs 23rd of January at Armadale Academy. If you are interested in attending this event please put your name on the sign up sheet outside the PE base or speak to Mr Collins.

 

History Belgium Trip - September

 

A list of those who have a place on the History trip to Belgium is posted outside Mrs Bryson's room (B13). Make sure that you have collected a letter from your class teacher or Mrs Bryson by Friday. Your first payment date is Friday 24th January. All Payments will be done through Ipay which will be set up by the end of this week.

 

 

 

S4 Pupils

S4-6 Netball Finals are on Friday 17th January at St Margaret's Academy. See Miss Laing in PE for more information and an EE2.

 

S5 Pupils

A careers event with M&G Financials (Prudential) will take place on the 6th February at their Edinburgh office for 2 half day events. M&G are a £12 billion investment company operating all over the world with a huge office based in Edinburgh. This is a free event for S5/6 students who are looking to get into the financial services sector. During the event they will take part in workshops led by leading professionals within the firm, network with M&G staff and hear all about their paid work experience and degree apprenticeship opportunities with some possible fast tracks on offer! Places are limited so please see Mr Forrester as soon as possible if you are interested.

 

 

Could all participants on the CERN trip in September please come to a meeting in Mr Byers's room (B23) on Monday 13th at lunchtime (1:30pm). This will be to distribute EE2 forms, so if you cannot attend, see Mr Byers ASAP.

 

The following S6 employability sessions will be taking place over the coming months. While this is an alteration to the original dates if you would like to attend any of the information sessions please drop your name to Mr Lawrie in A14.
